National Inspection Services, a provider of magnetic particle inspection, eddy current testing and other non-destructive testing (NDT) services, has acquired Magnum Midstream, expanding NIS operations to the northeast section of the U.S.
Based in Canonsburg, PA and with several locations in the region, Magnum will become NIS’ Northeast division. Established in 2013, Magnum began as a small group of NDT technicians in Hickory, PA and has since expanded its service coverage throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and Texas. The company has specialized in serving the midstream sector of the oil and gas industry.

With this addition to our team, National now has eight locations and services customers throughout Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, West Virginia, and Ohio,” said Neil Marks, president and CEO.
Based in Scott, LA, provides a full array of NDT services and specializes in radiography examination of conventional land-laid pipelines, serving the Gulf Coast region particularly from multiple locations in Louisiana, Texas and Colorado.
