HZDR Scientists Produce Engineered Magnetic Nanostructures in Dresden
In collaboration with colleagues from the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden (IFW) and the University of Glasgow, physicists from the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) are working to produce engineered magnetic nanostructures and to tailor material properties at the nanoscale. The scientists use a special microscope at the HZDR Ion Beam Center to achieve this goal.

Qnami Raises $2.6 Million to Help Bring to Market Quantum Microscope for Inspecting Magnetic Materials
Qnami recently announced the closing of a $2.6 million seed round led by Venture Capital fund Quantonation and further supported by investiere, ZKB Start-up Finance and the High Tech Gruenderfond. The funds will support the market entry of Qnami’s first product, a quantum microscope for inspection of magnetic materials at the nanoscale, and further developments of quantum sensing applications.
