Bunting Magnetics Co. has announced the company will donate $100,000 toward a new regional YMCA complex planned for construction in Newton, Kansas, where Bunting Magnetics is based. The Bunting donation will aid the local area in meeting the $5 million in private funds necessary to move the project ahead. Discussing the donation, Bunting CEO and President Bob Bunting said, “Partnering with our community and with our customers is a core Bunting value, and critical to our ongoing success. Bunting Magnetics is pleased to support the new regional recreational facility to be built on the Newton Medical Center campus by the Greater Wichita YMCA. This project will provide much-needed health and wellness programs plus comprehensive fitness facilities to the Newton area, where many Bunting employees live.”
