Arnold Magnetics to Move Marengo Operations to Woodstock, Illinois

On the eve of its 130th anniversary, Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corporation, a subsidiary of Compass Diversified and a leading global manufacturer of high-performance motors, magnets, & thin metals has acquired a state-of-the-art 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Woodstock, Illinois for their Precision Thin Metals and Alnico divisions.

Arnold will move its operations 14 miles from Marengo, Illinois to the new facility in Woodstock, which is also in McHenry County northwest of Chicago. The new location was carefully selected to be convenient for the existing workforce to easily make the transition. It will only expand and strengthen our capacity to continue providing quality products and services to our Precision Thin Metals and Alnico customers across the board.”

David Eakins, Director of Operations for both divisions, commented, “While moving operations as sophisticated and complex as Arnold’s Precision Thin Metals and Alnico divisions is no easy feat, our Team will approach this transition with all of the ingenuity and expertise that has allowed us to run a leading operation for over a century.”
