Magnet Applications, a subsidiary of Bunting Magnetics Co., has announced that its facility in DuBois, Penn. is formally registered with the US Department of State, Defense Directorate of Trade Control, under the rules set forth by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The registration is complemented by an ITAR compliance program at the facility, which is also compliant with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Announcing the ITAR and DFARS compliance, Magnet Applications General Manager Pete Lipetzky commented, “As a premier supplier of high technology magnetic material and assemblies, we increasingly find our products being used in defense and other sensitive applications.
