AT&M Continues Development of Advanced Magnetic Alloy Powders

Advanced Technology & Materials Co., Ltd., a major manufacturer of soft magnetic alloy powder in China, expects that its factory for atomized powder production will be certified by IATF 16949 system in August, making it the first factory in China to obtain this certification in the field of atomized powder manufacturing. 

IATF 16949 is certification for a quality management system designed specifically for the automotive sector. At its exhibit at APEC in March, the company provided information about its current activities.  

Recently AT&M has continued development and production of amorphous and nanocrystalline magnetic powders using the company’s water and gas combination quick cooling technology. Its line of soft magnetic alloy powders includes H-Flux, MPP, FeSi, FeSiCr and others which it has been delivering in bulk to international customers. The company has 14 sets of water and gas atomization machinery with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons, making it the largest such producer in China.
