Abracon Inductors Feature Advanced Alloy Powder and Hot-Press Molding

Abracon has developed a series of flat wire molded inductors made with advanced alloy powder and hot-press manufacturing to deliver exceptional performance in compact footprints. Offering inductance values from 0.042μH to 22μH, industry-leading DC resistance, high saturation current, and minimal AC losses, the AMELH series is designed to provide outstanding efficiency and thermal performance for demanding power delivery applications.

Package sizes are as small as 4.2 × 4.2 × 2.1mm and operating temperature range is rated at –40°C to +125°C, making them well suited for power supply (DC-DC) designs in industrial, smart home, robotics, IoT, AR/VR headset and AI/datacenter applications.

The construction of the AMELH series enables higher power densities and improved current handling, while simultaneously enhancing EMI suppression and minimizing core losses. They can enable design engineers to reduce component size without sacrificing performance in high-current, high-frequency power circuits.

With a powder core, they feature soft inductance saturation which generally provides power supply designers a wider operating range with more design flexibility and margin for the dynamic loads of today’s power electronics compared to ferrite-core components. See www.abracon.com
