Magnetic Measurement Group SENIS Splits into Two Entities

Swiss magnetic measurement group Senis has split into two independent entities. One part of the former group, now known as Senis AG, has been acquired by portfolio company Nilario Group while the other new entity, Senisens AG, will focus exclusively on the development of advanced magnetic sensors and sensor modules for next-generation applications. Characterized as a strategic transformation, the changes took place in July.

Senis AG/Nilario/Systematic Growth

Generally, the instruments side of the company which has a portfolio of magnetic field and electric current measurement products has been grouped into Senis AG, headquartered in Zug, which was acquired by the Swedish Nilario Group. Nilario is a new company intent on building a portfolio of specialized sensing and instrumentation companies across industries including automotive, robotics, energy, medtech and consumer electronics — and, itself, is one of eight industry-focused groups in entrepreneurial conglomerate Systematic Growth.

Nilario was founded in 2024 by Systematic Growth with the mission to build a group in precision measurement technologies. As the parent company, it has about nine groups with 80+ companies in its holding. Both companies are headquartered in Stockholm.

This move brings Senis’ magnetic field and current measurement instruments into Nilario’s expanding portfolio.

The current owners and management team of Senis AG will also be shareholders in Nilario, alongside the majority owner. Plans call for Senisens AG to continue to be a long-term exclusive supplier, and the the entire Senis AG management and expert instruments team remains in place. Flagship products are 3D magnetic field mappers, 3D magnetic field camera, 3D teslameters and 3D analog transducers.

“We’re proud to welcome Senis into Nilario,” says Fredrik Alvesson, Director of Nilario. “Their measurement accuracy and impressive customer base speak for themselves. Together, we’ll accelerate growth while preserving Senis’ strong customer focus and technological excellence.”

“Our mission stays the same,” says Sasa Spasic, CEO of Senis. “We’ll keep delivering worldleading precision and strong customer support—but now with a broader global reach and product portfolio as part of Nilario.”

Senisens AG

Formed as an independent family business, Sensisens AG (www.senisens.com) is now focused exclusively on the development of advanced magnetic sensors and sensor modules for next-generation applications. Its offerings presently include patented magnetic sensors and current sensor modules.

“We carry forward a legacy of pioneering sensor innovation – and we’re just getting started,” said the founding team. “Our mission is to empower the next generation of smart systems with sensors that are precise, reliable, and scalable.”
