CWIEME Berlin 2021 Cancelled, Moved To May 2022

Hyve, the organiser of the global CWIEME events, the world’s largest event series dedicated to coil winding, transformers, electric motors, generators and e-mobility, announced recently that the 25th anniversary edition of CWIEME Berlin, originally scheduled for 22-24 June of this year, has been cancelled. The next event is confirmed on May 10-12, 2022.

The organizers have been monitoring the situation carefully and have consulted with customers, visitors, the venue, local authorities and industry bodies, and it has been decided that a full year cancellation is the best decision for all concerned. Large scale events in Germany are still prohibited by the federal and local governments and these restrictions are unlikely to be removed in time for the event to take place, with the result that cancellation is now unavoidable.

“Work has already started on next year’s event to continue providing the global CWIEME community with the leading global platform to connect, learn, network and, most importantly, to do business,” the event organizers said.  “The 2022 show will feature exciting new initiatives, like a Global Partner Programme, an exclusive business matchmaking service ‘Meet-the-Engineer’ and new navigation features. “

In the meantime, CWIEME is also expanding their digital offering with quarterly, sector-specific online events. After very successful E-Mobility Days in February, Transformer Days will happen 22-23 June 2021. More details, as well as CWIEME’s autumn and winter programme, will be published in the next few weeks on their website.
