Pulse Electronics’ Vectoring Transformers are Compliant with Lantiq’s Vinax V3 Chipset Family

Nov14_PulsePulse Electronics Corp. has introduced a new VDSL2 30MHz transformer that is compliant for use with the Lantiq Vinax V3 chipset family. The BX4290LNL and BX4290LNLT transformers are used with the Class AB line driver to deliver high bandwidth over existing copper transmission lines. These transformers have improved longitudinal balance and provide excellent total harmonic distortion performance on a very compact platform. The Pulse Electronics’ transformers, used in conjunction with the Lantiq Vinax V3 chipset family, support such services as HD IPTV, high-speed Internet access, multi-player gaming networks and VoIP.

“Consumers, businesses, and governments are demanding applications that require higher bandwidth,” said Ronan Kelly, Pulse Electronics broadband product manager. “Combining this new set of transformers with the Lantiq chipset can help achieve this. The new vectoring technology eliminates noise and interference so VDSL2 lines can now reach full 100 Mbps capabilities, making them a logical option when a copper infrastructure is in place. The BX4290LNL and BX4290LNLT transformers are a new edition to the Pulse VDSL2 vectoring transformer product line.”

Pulse Electronics’ BX4290LNL transformer is packaged in trays while the BX4290LNLT is packaged in tape and reel. They are available now with a lead-time of 8 weeks. Evaluation samples are available immediately.
