Final Agenda Released: CWIEME Americas Announces Two New Industry-Leading Speakers

CWIEME Americas, CWIEME’s North American event for the supply chain of coil winding, electric motors, transformers, and generators recently announced two new highly regarded speakers complementing the comprehensive conference agenda featuring industry professionals, executives, and thought leaders.

On day one, visitors to CWIEME Americas can attend an onstage interview with Ellen Hughes-Cromwick, Senior Economist at the University of Michigan Energy Institute. Widely recognized as an excellent speaker, the former Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Commerce during the Obama Administration and chief global economist at Ford Motor Company will address transportation energy and environmental policy challenges.

The other addition to the agenda complements the Industry Intelligence Sessions – E-Materials Focus. Mitchell L. Spencer, President, Polaris Rare Earth Materials will be speaking about core materials, security, and the impact of geopolitics on the supply chains of the future. The two additions bring together the thought-provoking and stimulating keynote presentations across both days, providing technical insight into highly relevant topics such as strategies for and the implementation of e-mobility concepts, the future of e-mobility, materials, and e-motor & powertrain concepts. Speakers include executives from National Electrical Manufacturers Association, Global Sourcing & Strategy, SPX, Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, and LCT Development.

“We are thrilled to have attracted such an extraordinary lineup of speakers this year,” said Rozana Noja, Portfolio Director Global CWIEME Series. “The trade show in Chicago is a unique opportunity for industry professionals and executives to exchange and gain top-level insights into today’s industry challenges and trends. We look forward to listening to our speakers at CWIEME Central and are confident that attendees will leave the event with fresh ideas and new inspiration.”

In parallel to the show, CWIEME Americas has partnered with Optimized Program Service (OPS) for a hands-on technical workshop specifically for those wanting to learn and review the basic principles of transformer design and utilize OPS programs more effectively. The specialized all-day workshop requires a separate registration with OPS, and a registration fee will be charged. Admission to the conference and the social evening (September 16) is free of charge and included in all CWIEME Americas tickets.
