Jan Behnke has joined ELANTAS PDG, Inc. as Vice President – Commercial and Technology, effective May 4th, 2020. In this position, Behnke is responsible for leading the Sales, Business Development & Strategic Marketing, Customer Service, and Technology Development teams and will also serve on the ELANTAS PDG and ELANTAS management teams.
Jan comes with 32 years of industry experience, including serving as the Global Business Director of the Industrial Solutions Business at Dow Chemical prior to his role as the Corporate Director for Digital Transformation & Customer Engagement at the same company. Bringing a very strong international background, Jan will significantly strengthen our techno-commercial capabilities and support our growth ambitions for our business.
Susanne McHale was promoted to Vice President of Operations, effective May 1st, 2020. Susanne began working with the then P.D. George Company in 1983, operating the Pilot Plant for several years before moving into the Process Engineering area. As her scope increased, she was promoted to Head of the Resin Production Division.
Susanne continued to broaden her focus in manufacturing as well as engineering. She subsequently expanded her responsibilities to include the operational functions of the STL site, ultimately taking on the role of Director of Operations. Susanne is currently responsible for quality control, quality assurance, and all operations in St. Louis and Olean and is a valuable member of the ELANTAS Operations Steering Committee and the EPDG Management Team.
