Bourns, Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, announced two new AEC-Q200 compliant, automotive grade semi-shielded power inductor series whose bottom-soldered lead wire construction offers enhanced mechanical strength and stability. Bourns designed the new Model SRN4012BTA and SRN4018BTA series as a high-reliability solution for mission-critical applications such as automotive systems, power supplies, DC-DC converters, and in various industrial and telecom electronics.
The Bourns semi-shielded structure combines the features of non-shielded and shielded inductors, providing lower magnetic field radiation than non-shielded inductors and a more cost-effective alternative to fully shielded ferrite-based inductors. These new ferrite core, enameled copper wire power inductors offer inductance values from 0.47 to 100 µH and an operating temperature range of –55 °C to +125 °C.
Bourns® Model SRN4012BTA and SRN4018BTA semi-shielded power inductor series are available now and are RoHS compliant* and halogen free**. For more detailed product information, please see: www.bourns.com/products/magnetic-products/power-inductors-aec-q200-compliant
