Scientific instrument companies Caylar Instrumentation Scientifique of France and Group3 Technology of New Zealand have formed a strategic partnership that expands the sales and service network for both companies. The arrangement brings together their considerable portfolios of magnetic instrumentation, electromagnets and magnetic tools.

Established in 2002, Caylar produces electromagnets up to 3,000 Kg, nuclear magnetic resonance gaussmeters/teslameters and current sources. It is located in Villebon-sur-Yvette near Paris.

Located in the city of Auckland, Group3 designs and manufactures scientific instruments for measuring magnetic fields and specialist control systems for a broad range of temperature and magnetic field conditions. It was founded in 1983 and exports 99% of production to over 120 organizations around the world.
Since 1991, it has supplied control modules to manufacturers of ion beam Implantation equipment which are used in the manufacture of semiconductor circuits. Hall Effect digital teslameters, analog output magnetic field transducers and high-sensitivity Hall Effect probes are among its product lineup.

Group 3’s subsidiary for the Americas, G3 Magnetics, will also serve as an authorized distributor of Caylar products. Established in 2024, it is located in Cerritos, California in the Los Angeles area. For more info, see www.caylar.net, www.group3technology.com, www.teslameter.com.
